After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your professional safari guide and driver, who will brief you on the adventure ahead. The drive to Masai Mara takes approximately 5-6 hours, offering stunning views of Kenya’s rural landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley escarpments and rolling highlands.
Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you will check into your safari lodge or camp, where you’ll have lunch and some time to relax. Today is dedicated to a full day of game viewing in the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. You will set out early in the morning for a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness wildlife as predators are on the hunt and herbivores graze in the cool of the day. Your guide will take you to different areas of the reserve, maximizing your chances of seeing the Big Five—lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo—as well as other wildlife species.

Masai Mara is also known for its prolific birdlife, with over 450 bird species, including Secretary birds, Kori bustards, vultures, and African fish eagles.
