Your safari adventure begins as you depart Nairobi for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey is a picturesque drive through Kenya's Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking views of the escarpment. Along the way, you'll pass through Maasai villages and rolling grasslands teeming with wildlife, providing a glimpse of the incredible experience that awaits you in the Masai Mara.
After a 5- to 6-hour drive, you'll arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp. Following a refreshing meal and a short rest, you will embark on your first afternoon game drive. As you venture into the reserve, you'll witness the vast plains and rolling hills for which the Masai Mara is famous. The Mara is home to the Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros - as well as hundreds of other species.

The Masai Mara is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem, famous for its annual great migration, during which millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures. Depending on the time of year, you may witness this spectacular event, often considered one of the greatest natural phenomena in the world. Even outside of migration season, the Mara is rich with wildlife. From cheetahs sprinting across the plains to large herds of buffalos, giraffes browsing on tall acacias, and hyenas prowling the savannah, each moment in the Masai Mara promises unforgettable sights.

Day 3

After breakfast, you'll bid farewell to the Masai Mara and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This journey takes you through the agricultural heartland of Kenya, where you’ll see rolling farmlands and rural towns that give you a glimpse of local life. Arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday, you’ll check into your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos; thousands of them line the shores of the soda lake, creating a stunning pink panorama. However, in recent years, fluctuating water levels have led to the flamingos migrating to other lakes. Nevertheless, Lake Nakuru remains a haven for other wildlife. The park is a designated rhino sanctuary, and you're almost guaranteed to see both black and white rhinos grazing in the open plains or near the lake. The park also boasts healthy populations of buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks, as well as a variety of predators, including lions and leopards.

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This will be your last opportunity to spot any wildlife you may have missed the previous day, and it’s a great time for bird watching. Lake Nakuru is home to over 400 bird species, including pelicans, cormorants, and kingfishers.
Once your game drive concludes, you'll set off for the short journey to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge or camp and have lunch while soaking in the beautiful scenery of this tranquil lake.

Day 5

After breakfast by the lake, you'll depart for the iconic Amboseli National Park, located near the Kenya-Tanzania border. The drive will take you through changing landscapes, from the fertile lands around Lake Naivasha to the drier, semi-arid regions of southern Kenya.
You’ll arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon, with Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa’s highest peak - dominating the skyline. After checking into your lodge or camp, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive in the park. Amboseli is known for its large herds of elephants, and it’s not uncommon to see these majestic creatures marching across the plains with the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro in the background.

Day 6

Today, you’ll spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserves. The park’s open plains, swamps, and woodlands are ideal for game viewing, and with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular.
After breakfast, you’ll set off on a morning game drive, where you’ll likely encounter Amboseli’s famous elephants, often seen in large herds led by matriarchs. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, impalas, lions, and cheetahs. The wetlands and marshes are a great place to spot hippos and a variety of bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and crowned cranes.

Day 7

Following your morning game drive, you’ll begin the journey back to Nairobi. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya, offering glimpses of rural life as you head back to the city. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your 7-day safari adventure.
Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
