After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on your first full day of adventure, traveling to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife reserves. The drive from Nairobi takes you through scenic landscapes, with views of rural villages and open plains. After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Amboseli behind and begin the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, located in Kenya’s Rift Valley. The drive offers scenic views of rural Kenya, passing through small towns and expansive farmlands. You’ll stop along the way for lunch before continuing to Lake Nakuru, arriving in the afternoon.

Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, you’ll check in at your lodge before heading out for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large flocks of flamingos that gather along the shores, creating a spectacular pink hue across the lake. Before heading to the airport, you’ll make a stop at the famous Giraffe Centre in Nairobi, where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Rothschild giraffes. The centre is dedicated to the conservation and breeding of this endangered species, and you’ll learn about the important work being done to protect these gentle giants. You can even feed the giraffes and take photos as they stretch their long necks to reach for treats.
