Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Check for flights arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi before 07:30 AM. Our safari driver guide will meet you upon arrival. Following a pre-safari briefing, you will depart for Amboseli National Park, where you will arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch.

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is situated against the breathtaking backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, and enjoys a privileged position at the heart of the world-famous national park.

After lunch at the lodge, you will have the afternoon to relax and take in the magnificent views of the park from your room's verandah/lounge, or you can enjoy a swim in the lodge heated swimming pool.

At 4:00 PM, you will embark on an afternoon game-viewing drives in the park. Amboseli is one of the most popular safari destinations in Kenya, offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Amboseli National Park

One full day in Amboseli National Park includes morning and afternoon game viewing drives at 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM, respectively.

Elephants are a dominant presence in Amboseli. They are tracked almost constantly by researchers, which is why they largely escaped the ravages of 1980s poaching. Here, you may be able to spot some of the older "tuskers" moving almost delicately with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
