Arrive in Tanzania - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). After receiving your tourist visa and collecting your bags a team member will collect you from the hotel and you transfer you to your Arusha accommodation for rest before your safari adventure!
Meet up with the rest the group joining on the adventure today and become acquainted.

Day 2
Air Transfer to Kogatende
Air Transfer to Kogatende
After breakfast a private driver will transfer you to the Arusha Domestic airport to board your charter flight to the Northern Region of the Serengeti! Flight time will be (~2.5 hours - with some potential stops along the way).
Your personal safari guide will greet you at the landing strip and your adventure will begin immediately. Spend the rest of the day doing a game driving and exploring the vast endless plains of the world famous Serengeti Park.
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch right in the heart of the wilderness. All of our picnic lunches are served on full tableware with a selection of beverages - by skipping boxed lunches we help to reduce waste and our environmental footprint while also providing a touch of elegance and class for our guests.
Once you are ready to retire your guide will take you to your accommodation located right in the Serengeti for rest and enjoyment.

Day 3
Northern Serengeti Game Drive

On this day you will set out to see the Great Migration – your guide will pack a delicious picnic lunch and you will spend all day transferring/game driving in the Serengeti or you can choose to return to the camp for lunch and rest before an evening/afternoon game drive.
The massive herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra will be on their way back from Kenya at this time of year – crossing the Mara River in the Northern and Eastern corridor of the Serengeti. The goal for the day will be to find the big herds and watch for what is deemed to be one of nature’s great shows – a river crossing!

Day 4
Transfer to Central Serengeti
Transfer to Central Serengeti
Spend the morning doing a final game drive in the Northern Serengeti region - before starting the transfer towards the Central Serengeti region.
The central region is popular year round - as it always have a large population of resident wildlife due to its access to fresh water. This area is also known to have the greatest density of predator cats! Spend the rest of the day game driving and exploring the region.
Once ready to retire - arrive at your nearby accommodation for relaxation and overnight.

Spend a full day in the Central Region of the Serengeti!
Spend this day as you please – depart after breakfast for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch or return to your camp for lunch and an afternoon lounging by the infinity pool overlooking the vast savannah plains. The decisions is yours and the benefit of having a private guide! Central Serengeti is popular year round - it is well know for its large population of large cats due to its proximity to fresh water year round.

Day 6
Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Central Serengeti - before transferring to Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Highlands where the vast open savannah transforms into dense forest - surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the night on the Ngorongoro Crater rim - tucked away in the magical forest.
Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim after lunch - and descent to the crater floor for an afternoon game drive. (Note: Game drives in the crater are only allowed until 16:00 daily)
After the game drive ascend the crater rim and arrive at your crater rim accommodations in time for sunset and dinner.

Day 7

We recommend starting your Ngorongoro crater game drive as early in the morning as possible! You may even choose to take a boxed breakfast so to depart very early and enjoy a sunrise descent to the floor - later stopping for a picnic breakfast.
The crater floor although small is home to many animals including: elephants, water buffalo, lions and the endangered black rhino. The caldera creates an incredible backdrop.
Spend the morning game driving and exploring the area, stopping by the hippo pool for coffee and snacks or your boxed breakfast! Once finished exploring ascend the crater rim and transfer back to your crater rim accommodations for rest and enjoyment.

End of Program / Onward Transfer
End of Program / Onward Transfer
Depending on final day travel plans/onward travel - on this day you can partake in some Karatu area activities. After check out enjoy some shops/stores in Karatu before transferring to Arusha to catch your international flight home or domestic flight to other areas of Tanzania.
