2-Day Golden Monkey Volcanoes & Gorilla Trek in Bwindi

Transfer to Volcano National Park, Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your Tour will start from Hotel where by Your assigned professional driver guide will welcome you at 6:00 am and then to the park head offices in Kinigi by 7:00 am. Join up with the other golden monkey trekkers, meet the ranger guide for a few minutes talk about the activity and the park. At 8:00 am, transfer to the trailhead just outside the park. Enjoy great views of the mountain scenery as you start your trek to find the golden monkeys. The golden monkeys live near the edge of the park in the bamboo forests where the ground is relatively flat and easy to trek.
After an amazing one hour with the golden monkeys, you will return to the trailhead and have lunch. And later transfer to Bwindi NP crossing via the Katuna border enjoy the landscapes of steep hills, the drive is approximately 2hours 29mintues. You will reach in the afternoon do nothing but only check-in at the accommodation

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer Back to Kigali

After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do's and don’ts during the trekking. You will then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense. It is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Afterwards, transfer back to Kigali Airport with lunch en-route to catch your evening departure flight back home.
