Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart from Kampala, stopover at the Equator for photography at the world’s center line. Continue with the journey through the western Uganda highlands till Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive and check in at a booked hotel near the park. Accommodation is based on the allocated sector for trekking.

Embark On a Gorilla Trek Adventure in Bwindi

After early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park guides. Thereafter head to the jungle for mountain gorilla trekking that starts at 8:00 am. Head to the forest for a trek that lasts about 2 to 6 hours or more depending on where the mountain gorillas have spent their night. After meeting with the gorillas, you spend a maximum of 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas.
After an encounter with the giant gorillas, you trek back to the start point. Remember to carry some drinking water and snacks or foods to keep you energized. Receive a congratulatory certificate at the park headquarters and then transfer to the hotel or lodge for check-out.
Our Guide will then drive you off to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise where you will adventure the lake’s several islands and take photos for sunset on the lake. The boat ride lasts for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Drive to Bunyonyi Safaris Resort and check-in for super and relaxation.

Return from Bwindi to Entebbe/Kampala

On the last day of the trip, have breakfast at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort then return to Entebbe Airport for departure. The drive lasts more than 8 hours and therefore you will have lunch En-route. Arrive at Entebbe Airport in the evening for drop off at a hotel or place of residence.
