Travel from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you'll meet our professional driver-guide at your accommodation, the airport, or another preferred location within the city. From there, you'll begin your journey to Mikumi National Park, a scenic 4-5 hour drive with a picnic lunch stop along the way.

Upon arrival at Mikumi, you'll be welcomed by the park’s iconic baobab trees, rising majestically against the African savannah. In the evening you will have culture walking tour to a nearby Maasai village when you will learn more about maasai culture. Afterwards you'll return to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Camp Bastian, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventure.

You'll embark on your journey back to Dar es Salaam, stopping for a delicious hot lunch in Morogoro town then proceed with your safari, Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your designated location within the city.
