Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

You will have an early morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel and drive to Hell's Gate National Park, where you will get a chance to ride bicycles through the park and hike in the gorges. You'll have a short stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Thereafter, you'll proceed to arrive at your hotel at Lake Naivasha in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride and a visit to Crescent Island (extra cost). Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have an early breakfast. After breakfast, you will leave the resort for Masai Mara, a 4 to 5-hour drive. You will pass Narok town, which is a famous Masai town, and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch, check in at the camp and have lunch. You will enjoy afternoon game drives through the park in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, and other members of the Big Five together with other animals. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drive

You'll enjoy an early morning game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season (early July to the end of September). Zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson’s gazelles are regularly seen, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and harder to spot but are often seen at a distance. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Later, your meals and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

You will have an early breakfast at your camp. Then, you will check out of the camp and park and drive to Nairobi, a 5-hour drive. You can also visit the Maasai village (optional). As you arrive in Nairobi, you will visit the Giraffe Centre and be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
