Tarangire National Park

In the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Moshi/ Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees and abundant elephant herds. The park's unique landscape, characterized by sparse vegetation, offers a picturesque setting as you witness up to 300 elephants digging for hidden water in the dry riverbeds.

You'll also spot migratory wildebeest, zebras, and buffaloes congregating around the dwindling lagoons. Afterward, enjoy a scenic afternoon game drive, complete with a picnic lunch.

Ngorongoro Crater

Begin your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The 600-meter-deep crater, renowned for its breathtaking scenery, is a sanctuary for diverse wildlife, including the iconic Big Five. With a permanent population of animals, you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, as well as plains animals like wildebeest, zebras, reedbuck, and Thompson’s gazelles.

In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, surrounded by the stunning landscape. As the day winds down, we’ll return to Moshi or Arusha, where you can prepare for your onward journey to Zanzibar or your trip home.
