Day 1

Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, and transfer you to Julius Nyerere Airport for your flight to Arusha after land in Arusha airport you’ll have 1.5hour drive, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. This region, once a prime location for big game hunting safaris frequented by Hemingway, was transformed into a national park in 1970. The seasonal marshes and vast savannahs that define the landscape today have evolved into thriving wildlife habitats, with cameras now replacing elephant guns. If you visit during the dry season, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable spectacle, with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and various species of antelopes and gazelles. With some luck, you may even spot a python! Around lunchtime, we will stop at a scenic picnic spot before dedicating the afternoon to more wildlife watching.

After Game drive you’ll return to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport ready to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
