Day 1

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel seven hours by car from Kampala to Masaka to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stop along the way for lunch in Mbarara and for photographs at the equator. You will then be taken to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Mbarara takes about three hours.

Day 2

Game drive and launch cruise along kazinga channel

Take a game drive in the morning to the Kasenyi plains, the park's northern region, where you can look for lions and leopards. Expect to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Defassa waterbucks, bushbucks, and enormous forest hogs among other animals as you go down the Kasenyi paths. At 2:00 pm, go on a launch cruise around the Kazinga Channel after returning to the lodge for a hot lunch. Large herds of elephants, hippos, and several migratory and endemic birds will all be closer to you throughout the launch experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest at 6:00 p.m.

After breakfast at 8:00am, pack some snacks and drinks like water. Go for chimpanzee trekking at kyambura George, you will be able to see other creatures like monkeys, check in at Bakiga lodge, Enjoy a hearty lunch at the Bakiga lodge at 1:00pm spend the evening doing a Batwa (Pygmie) community walk in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, have dinner at Bakiga lodge.

Day 4

Gorilla Tracking Adventure

Gorilla Tracking Adventure

Get up early for breakfast, then walk a short distance from your resort to the park headquarters, where the park ranger will brief you before the 8:30 am start of the gorilla trek. Although monitoring gorillas is a demanding activity, it is considered the most gratifying wildlife encounter. Depending on how they roam through the bush, it can take anything from one to several hours to come across these apes.

Return to the airport in Kigali or Entebbe after breakfast. The travel from Bwindi to Entebbe takes almost eight hours, whereas the drive to Kigali International Airport takes four to five hours.
