Day 1

You’ll be picked up from the lodge at 7:30 AM with a packed lunch for your journey to Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive takes about 1.5 hours, allowing you to appreciate the stunning landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling game drive, where you can witness the park's famous elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and the meandering Tarangire River. After a day of exploration, you’ll return to the lodge by 6:00 PM for dinner and an overnight stay. Prepare to encounter lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the trees during your adventure!

Following your time with the Hadzabe, you'll visit the Datoga people, known for their exceptional blacksmithing. After breakfast, we will set off for an exciting journey to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. We’ll pack lunch boxes to enjoy during our exploration. Your evening will include dinner and a restful overnight stay at the lodge.

The Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, is a true African marvel. Home to around 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, the crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing. Additionally, a diverse array of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, makes this destination a photographer's paradise and a must-visit for nature enthusiasts.

Lake Manyara to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Int' Airport

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at 7:30 AM for a 40-minute drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife, the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and abundant flamingos on the alkaline lake. Enjoy a game drive through the lush groundwater forest and across the lake’s shores, spotting various wildlife including giraffes, zebras, and hippos.

After the game drive, around 1:00 PM, you’ll start your journey back to Arusha or head directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
