After breakfast, you will depart for Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital and the starting point of the world's longest river—the Nile. Visit the Source of the Nile and enjoy a relaxing boat cruise to witness where this majestic river begins its journey. In the afternoon, explore WORI, a community project that empowers local women. In the evening, unwind at the lodge with scenic views of the Nile.

Leave Jinja behind and head towards the picturesque Sipi Falls, located at the foothills of Mount Elgon. Upon arrival, settle in at the charming Sipi River Lodge. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the surroundings, breathe in the fresh mountain air, or take a short walk to nearby viewpoints. You can also decide to take on a coffee tour with a local guide. Just inform our guide in time for proper arrangements.

Explore Sipi Falls
Dedicate the day to exploring Sipi Falls, a series of three spectacular waterfalls cascading down the mountain. Hike along scenic trails that take you to the base of each waterfall, offering plenty of photo opportunities and interactions with local communities. Return to the lodge in the evening to prepare for the upcoming trekking days.

The real adventure begins today as you embark on a multi-day trek to the summit of Mount Elgon. After breakfast, a motorcycle ride will take you to the Budadiri trailhead, where your hike commences. The trail winds through dense montane forests, offering the chance to spot various bird species and perhaps some monkeys. After a few hours of trekking, you will reach the first campsite for an overnight stay.

After a full day of trekking, you will set up camp and enjoy a meal prepared by your chef.

This is the day you've been waiting for—the final ascent to Wagagai Peak (4321 meters), the highest point of Mount Elgon. You will start early and trek to the summit, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views. Take your time to savor the achievement and capture unforgettable photos. After descending from the peak, camp on the mountain’s slopes for the night.

On the final day of your trek, descend through forested trails until you reach the trailhead. A motorcycle will pick you up and take you back to Sipi River Lodge, where you can relax after your challenging yet rewarding trek. Before leaving sipi land you can decide to visist the ladies and see how they make baskets and other souvenirs.

Return to Entebbe
This is your last day in Sipi wake up and have a hot breakfast. You will start the journey in the morning and will have lunch en route. Later after lunch you will continue to Entebbe where you will have a day use of the room for the last hours before your flight.
