Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari in the morning. If you have time and feel like exploring our beautiful city, Arusha, you are free to do so.

Ngorongoro Crater

In the morning, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. After arrival, you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater, often described as one of the wonders of the world, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural setting. At lunchtime, our guide will serve lunch at the picnic site. Afterwards, the game drive will continue while heading to the lodge for a hot dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box.

The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a must-see on every safari, regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the Fry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water.

Full-day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive to see nocturnal animals returning from hunting and lions awaking in the dawn. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds, you can expect to see wildebeests, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.

At lunchtime, you will drive back to the camp for a hot lunch, and then you will have another game drive.

Serengeti National Park to Arusha City

On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. Return to the camp for breakfast at around 09h00. After breakfast, you will take a picnic lunch with you for a game drive en route to Arusha City, marking the end of this unforgettable experience.

We expect to be back in Arusha late afternoon, although we are flexible if there is a flight to catch or another situation.
