Maun to Moremi Game Reserve

The day starts with a drive from Maun Town to Moremi Game Reserve. Upon entering, your first game drive starts, offering the chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. As you explore the park’s diverse landscapes, your guide will share insights into the animals and ecosystems.

By midday, you’ll stop for a packed lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive, where you may see more wildlife in the cooler hours. As the sun sets, you’ll arrive at your remote campsite, where your tents await. After settling in, enjoy dinner around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s adventures. The evening will be spent under the stars, listening to the sounds of the African bush for a peaceful end to an exciting day.

Return to Maun

On the final day of your safari, you’ll wake up early to enjoy a peaceful morning in the wilderness and a light breakfast at camp. There are no scheduled activities on this day, allowing you to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings of Moremi Game Reserve one last time.

Once camp is packed up, you’ll begin the drive back to Maun. Although there are no formal game drives, the journey through the reserve offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and other animals as you make your way through the reserve’s stunning landscapes.

As you exit Moremi and continue the drive, you’ll have a final chance to appreciate the beauty of the Botswana wilderness. You’ll arrive in Maun by early afternoon, marking the end of your 2-day safari adventure, with memories of the incredible wildlife and experiences from Moremi Game Reserve.
