Your safari starts at Insika Lodge, a serene hideaway just outside Victoria Falls, where you’ll spend two nights. Located within easy reach of the mighty Victoria Falls, Insika offers both relaxation and adventure. After settling in, explore one of the world’s most impressive natural wonders, soaking in the majestic views from various vantage points. The lodge’s eco-friendly design blends harmoniously with the surrounding bush, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the falls. Each room is ensuite with a sitting area as well as a sitting space on the patio overlooking the lovely gardens. The main area has a pool and a small waterhole for birds and small animals. Hwange’s renowned elephant herds frequently pass through the camp, to the waterhole just in front of the raised viewing deck. From here, you can capture incredible photographs and witness the heartwarming sight of young elephants eagerly trotting to the water, flanked by their protective adults. The adults form a shield around the calves as they drink, ensuring their safety from potential predators.
Somalisa Expeditions features six Meru-style tents, each perched on a wooden platform with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas that overlook the vast Zimbabwean bush. Mana Pools is teeming with wildlife, including elephants, wild dogs, waterbuck, buffalo, and lions, all waiting to be discovered on game drives, canoe safaris, or walking safaris.
