Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart from Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Uganda’s countryside. Have a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking as you will track these beautiful creatures on foot with an experienced ranger guide, learn about conservation and how they live before you proceed for lunch at Ziwa or the nearby restaurant. Proceed to the park arriving late in the afternoon or early evening and check-in the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, set off for a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Explore the park's savannahs, woodlands, and riverine forests, searching for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and a variety of antelope species.
Return to the lodge for some relaxation and lunch. Embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Along the way, spot hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of bird species. The cruise offers a stunning view of the falls from below. Return to Sambiya Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Delta Game Drive and Relaxation

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for a game drive towards the Nile Delta, where the river meets Lake Albert. This area is rich in birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork, and offers great chances to see more wildlife, including waterbucks and warthogs.
Return to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon. You can take a dip in the pool, enjoy the lodge’s serene environment, or simply unwind with a book.

Top of Falls, Games and Sport at the Lodge

Wake up at leisure and have breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls.
