Day 1

Materuni waterfalls

Materuni waterfalls

After breakfast, you will travel to Materuni village near Kilimanjaro. A 45-minute hike will take you to the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall, followed by an informative coffee tour. You will spend the first half of the day engrossed in these activities.

After enjoying the scenery, slowly return to Materuni village with your guide for a typical Chagga meal.

Here, you will learn how coffee is grown, dried, roasted, and processed. You will also be asked to assist with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances—a great chance to immerse yourself in local culture. You will also have the opportunity to sample our local banana beer.

Next, you'll drive to Kikuletwa Hot Springs, where you may relax in the warm waters and enjoy a one-of-a-kind swim with doctor fish that feels like a free pedicure.
You will return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at the Arusha Tumbili lodge.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation for a lovely 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. It is a natural wonderland known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

You'll be elevated in our open-top vehicle as you go through seasonal marshes, broad savannas, and the Tarangire River, taking in the various fauna.

The park is home to a diverse range of animals, including birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and stately elephants.

The picnic area has a magnificent view. You will eat your picnic lunch there before continuing to watch the game.

After that, you'll travel to Sangaiwe tented lod, where you can rest, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3

Tarangire to Seerengeti National park

You'll start the day with breakfast before driving to the Serengeti. The road is long and bumpy, but it provides amazing wildlife sightings along the way, turning the 4-5 hour ride into an experience in and of itself. As you ascend through the crater highlands, you will be going towards the enormous Serengeti plains.

A delicious picnic lunch awaits you, giving you the opportunity to refuel before entering the park for an exhilarating afternoon drive. Keep an eye out for incredible wildlife encounters as you explore the beauties of the Serengeti.

Don't miss the spectacular sunset, an ideal time to capture the beauty of the surroundings.

As darkness falls, you will make your way to Kisura Serengeti Camp. You'll enjoy a fantastic dinner and a calm overnight stay in the Serengeti, surrounded by nature's tranquility.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

Today you will spend the entire day at the park.

You'll leave and begin exploring at sunrise.

You will go on a full-day wildlife drive across the stunning Serengeti countryside in search of the Big Five.

You will then return to the campground for a delicious lunch before departing for an afternoon game drive. There's more to the Serengeti than huge mammals.

There are almost 500 bird species recorded, ranging from the gigantic ostrich and strange secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that soar effortlessly over the savannah.

You will continue your quest for Serengeti animals, returning to Gnu Mara River Camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

After that, you'll stop at a gorgeous picnic spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the bush.

Your game drive will resume, providing additional opportunities to see wildlife before returning to the camp about midday for a hearty cooked meal.

After that, you'll pick up the van and head to Ngorongoro.

At the end of the day, you'll stop at Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp for dinner and stay the night.

You will then proceed to your next stop, Twiga Lodge, to unwind, eat dinner, and sleep overnight.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park's entrance gate.

This park, known for its tree-climbing lions, may be modest in size, but it is extremely diverse. A major feature is the salt lake, which covers a large area of the park.

It experiences seasonal variations, providing habitat for thousands of graceful flamingos and over 300 other bird species.

The terrain is a stunning mix of grassy plains, primate-rich woodlands, and cliffs studded with gigantic baobab trees.

You should plan to be back in Arusha around 4:00 p.m., though we are flexible if there is a flight to catch.
