Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will head for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. The tour will lead you to Lake Manyara Jambo Lodge, where you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Lake Manyara is a picturesque treasure that stretches for 50 kilometers at the base of the rusty gold 600-meter-high Rift Valley escarpment. American novelist Ernest Hemingway described the setting as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa." The short game-viewing circuit through Manyara provides a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through a beautiful jungle-like groundwater forest, with hundreds of baboon troops lounging casually along the side. Blue monkeys scurry nimbly amongst the ancient mahogany trees, delicate bushbuck cautiously tread through the shadows, and massive forest hornbills honk loudly in the upper canopy.

LAke manyara to Serengeti National park

After breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park for a wildlife drive and picnic lunch. Your meal and overnight stay will be at a campground in Serengeti National Park.

A million wildebeest, each driven by the same ancient rhythm and fulfilling its natural function in the unbreakable cycle of life, embark on a furious three-week period of territorial conquest and mating. Then, a brief population explosion occurs, with over 8,000 wildebeest calves born daily. Following that, it's survival of the fittest as they swim through crocodile-infested waterways on their annual migration to the north. Now, the 1000-kilometer trek begins anew.
