Morning & Sunset Safaris

Early morning wake-up for hot beverages and rusks and then we set off for a 3-hour morning game drive in Kapama Game Reserve. The game drive is in an open safari vehicle with a professional game ranger. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and refreshments.
Relax around the lodge; lounge at the pool or treat yourself to a spa session at River Lodge Spa (for your own cost). Enjoy a light lunch on the outdoor deck. We depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in Kapama Game Reserve.

Return to the lodge well after the sun has set. Dinner is served in the lodge restaurant or on the outdoor deck.

Arrival in Victoria Falls & Zambezi River Dinner Cruise

Wake up early for breakfast. We depart for OR Tambo International Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival in Victoria Falls, you’re picked up and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Club in an air-conditioned shuttle bus.
Book in, freshen up and enjoy the hotel facilities before it’s time to depart late afternoon for a 4-hour sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River.
The boat cruise on the Zambezi River includes a 3-course dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne. Cash bar for other drinks. Return to your lodge at about 9pm.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast, then depart at 08:00 for a 2-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls.
After your walk through nature, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure with various add-on activities available (at your own cost). Known as the "Adrenalin Capital of Africa," options include bungee jumping, white water rafting, or relaxing with a historic tour of the Victoria Falls Bridge and afternoon tea at Stanley’s Terrace. Dinner can be at the lodge or nearby restaurants (at your own cost).

Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour

Early breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then we depart for a full-day Cape Peninsula Tour. Take in the highlights of the cosmopolitan Cape Town City Bowl, the vibrant coastal towns of the Atlantic Seaboard and continue on a scenic drive to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at the southernmost tip of the Peninsula.

You can take a funicular ride or walk to the legendary Cape Point. Spend time exploring Simon’s Town, penguin watch at Boulders Beach (optional and own cost) and drive through the quaint seaside towns that hug False Bay. The day ends with a leisurely stroll through the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Pop into Kirstenbosch Tea Room for a delicious High Tea (own cost) before we head back to your hotel at the V&A Waterfront.

Half Day Cape Winelands Tour

Early breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then we depart for a half-day Cape Winelands Tour where you’re taken on an incredibly scenic route to the historic town of Stellenbosch in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
After a short tour of Stellenbosch to show you historic landmarks and the beautiful heritage buildings, we drive to the first of two premier wine estates. After a tour of the cellars, join a representative of the estate to sample their finest wines which are paired with delicious local cheese. We head off to the second wine estate for the same delicious wine tasting experience.

You can buy your favourite vintage at the farm’s shop before leaving for the drive back to Cape Town. Dine in or eat out at a popular restaurant in the area (your own cost). Overnight in a luxury room at the Commodore Hotel. Includes: Breakfast.
