In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to start the 4-hour
journey to Nyerere National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy a picnic lunch and take in the
scenic views of Tanzanian villages, the people, and the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival at
your lodge, you’ll have time to check in and relax. At 4 PM, embark on a boat safari, a fantastic
introduction to your safari adventure. While cruising the river, you’ll spot wildlife, mammals, and
birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, at 6:30 AM, you’ll set off for a full-day game drive. Explore the park's

dogs. Your guide will share insights on the various species and their habitats. During the drive,
you’ll also visit the Selous Hot Springs, a natural wonder amidst the wilderness, offering a truly
unique experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or under the shade of a tree. After the game
drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart for a 5-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. En route, enjoy views

the way). You’ll have lunch during the trip. Upon arrival at Mikumi, check in at your lodge and
relax. In the afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive, where you’ll witness wildlife as the sun
sets—a favorite time for many travelers. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at
Camp Bastian Lodge (or similar).

Transfer to Ruaha National Park (Stop at Isimila Stone Age Museum)
After an early breakfast, begin your 7-hour journey to Ruaha National Park. Along the way,
stop at the Isimila Stone Age Museum, one of East Africa’s most important archaeological
sites. The museum showcases stone tools and artifacts from early human life. Enjoy a picnic
lunch before continuing your trip. Arrive at Ruaha National Park in the early evening, where
you can either relax at the lodge or opt for an evening game drive.

Start your day with an early morning game drive through Ruaha National Park. Explore the
Ruaha River valley, where you’ll spot animals like kudus, wildebeests, elephants, zebras,
lions, hippos, and more. Enjoy a packed lunch in the park, with an option for a bush lunch
under the trees. Ruaha is also a paradise for birdwatchers, boasting over 350 species of
birds. After a full day of exploring, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Mikumi National Park (Evening Game Drive & Mkwawa Museum)
After breakfast, embark on a 7-hour drive back to Mikumi National Park. On the way, you’ll stop
at the Mkwawa Museum, which honors Chief Mkwawa, the famous Hehe leader who resisted
German colonial rule. Learn about the local history while enjoying lunch at the museum.
Continue to Mikumi, arriving in the late afternoon. You can choose to relax at your lodge or take
part in an evening game drive.

Mikumi National Park (Full-Day Game Drive)
Set out early for a full-day game drive starting at 6:30 AM. Early morning is the best time for
spotting animals, as they are more active. The beautiful sunrise also makes for stunning
scenery. At 10 AM, break for breakfast at a park restaurant, and then continue your game
drive with a packed lunch until sunset. After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner
and an overnight stay.
