Today, you will continue with a half-game drive in the Serengeti and then head to Ngorongoro with wildlife on route. Karatu to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, which is called after the Tarangire River that runs through it. Known as the 'river of warthogs,' it is the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park's features are diverse, ranging from dense vegetation such as elephant grass and acacia woodlands to beautiful groundwater forests. Tarangire is well-known for its vast elephant herds, which frequently congregate near the river alongside giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests.
