Dar Es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Our guide will collect you up from your hotel, airport, or ferry for a safari briefing before driving you south to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), which is about a five and a half hour drive from Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be served lunch before beginning your afternoon boat safari in the Rufiji River. A boating safari will allow you to witness aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, a variety of birds, and mammals such as elephants, giraffes, and many others drinking in the Rufiji River. You will end your day by witnessing a breathtaking sunset while enjoying the magnificent sands of the river-flooding plains.
Nyerere tented camp will host your overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, you'll proceed on full-day game drives with packed lunch boxes at Selous Game Reserve. During noon, you will have a picnic lunch at a location chosen by your guide. Following your picnic lunch and some leisure, you will continue on the game drive till the evening.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Mloka Safaris Lodge.

Nyerere National Park to Dar Es salaam

You'll begin the day with a morning walking safari. After the two and a half-hour walking safari, you will return to your lodge for a wash and breakfast. After breakfast, you'll drive back to Dar es Salaam with your lunch boxes. When you arrive in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the airport for your return journey home or at the hotel/ferry to Zanzibar, Mafia Island.
