Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your tour will start from Entebbe at the hotel where your assigned professional tour driver-guide will receive you and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring over 310 of them, which is almost half of the world’s gorilla population (54.9%). The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch and refreshment. Thereafter, you will pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi.. You will reach in the afternoon do nothing but only check-in at the accommodation #optional Batwa Community Trial Extra $70 per person.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do's and don’ts during the trekking. You will then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense. It is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants, is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation, and rest after a strenuous trek. *(extra cost): In case you finished early and the body is willing to go out again, you can request your guide to arrange; a community visit, or some short nature walk

Depart Bwindi and return to Entebbe Airport to catch flight

You will have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of Bwindi Forest right in front of you. Thereafter, you will hit the road for the return to Entebbe.
