Arrival and Shoebill Tracking at Mabamba Swamp, Karibu Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the nearby Mabamba Swamp by using a local wooden motorized boat to track the elusive shoebill and experience more bird species on a boat ride.

Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You'll transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover for a Rhino walk at Ziwa and lunch en route. Murchison Falls National Park is the first largest National Park in Uganda, it was first protected as a game reserve in 1926. The boasts of over 76 species of mammals and 451 species of birds. It is also bisected by the Victoria Nile which falls 45m over the remnant Rift Valley wall creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. Distance; Approx. 350 km, 6 hours’ drive.

Morning Game Drive and Hike to the Top of the Murchison Falls National Park
You will wake up early for an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park to search for wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, impalas, waterbucks, impalas, and many others as you watch the beautiful sunset.
After your morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for refreshments. After a hot lunch, your guide will drive you to Murchison Falls for a top-of-the-falls viewing experience. You will later continue with an evening game drive for check-in for the missing wildlife.

Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the Bottom Murchison Falls National Park
You'll have an early morning game drive in the park searching for the major species like; elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and kobs. On a lucky day, even lions and leopards can be sited. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will disembark and take a hike to the top of the falls.
This is a rewarding adventure as the hike is relative and takes you along the waterfalls through a forested hill with great views of the waterfalls.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest
You will wake up early for breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the park headquarters at Budongo Forest for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You will be briefed by the rangers and also divided into groups to begin your search for the chimpanzees in the Budongo forest. During the search for the chimpanzees, you will encounter other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, and also a variety of bird and butterfly species. You will also learn about the different tree species found in the forest.
An hour will be spent with the chimpanzees when you find them in the Kibale forest and you will enjoy taking photos and recording the chimpanzees and observing their behavior. After completing the activity, you will return to the park headquarters where you return to the starting point to meet your guide.
Later in the afternoon, you will spend the day relaxing on your balcony as you prepare to explore Africa's true wilderness —Kidepo Valley National Park.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
This day starts with a morning breakfast and a drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, the drive north-eastwards will take through the countryside of mostly Ugandan less developed villages. You'll drive via Gulu–Kitgum and eventually the Karamojong land and check in at your lodge for an overnight stay. If you arrive early enough, you will go for an evening game drive which will be a warm welcome to this park. Distance; Approx. 350 km, 7 hours drive.

Full-Day Game Drive Exploring Kidepo Valley National Park
You will set out at 6 am for a game drive in the Narus Valley which has the highest concentration of animals in the park, as it is drained by the Narus River a source of water to the wildlife. Wildlife includes; elephants, bush duikers, buffaloes, and hartebeests. When lucky, you will spot the Kavirondo bushbaby, jackal, leopard, and lions sitting on the rocks in the valley.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Karamojong local community for a cultural experience.

Transfer from Kidepo Valley National Park to Moroto
You'll have morning game drives en route out of the park as you transfer to Moroto in the heart of Karamoja. The drive is on marram remote roads with lots of views of the undeveloped countryside of eastern Uganda and the Karamojong region in particular.

Karamojong Cultural Encounter in Moroto
This Karamojong cultural experience starts with a visit to the Karamojong village for a village walk and ends in the evening with a Kraal visit. This is a participatory experience where you will be introduced to the daily lifestyle of the Karamojong people; from preparing local foods to celebrations with traditional folklore.
You will learn these peoples’ traditions as you listen to the elders' stories and play traditional Karamojong games with them.

Drive to Piane-Upe Wildlife Reserve
You'll have a morning drive to Piane-Upe Wildlife Reserve, for game drives off the beaten tracks in this amazing reserve. Located in the volcanic region of Mountain Napak, it anciently used to be a battleground for Karamojong pastoralists.
Animals here include cheetahs, leopards, lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, Cape buffalo herds, duikers, and mountain reedbucks among others. You will continue the drive to Sipi at the slopes of Mt. Elgon. Distance; Approx. 170 km, 4 hours’ drive.

Hike to Sipi Falls and Sundowner Experience
You'll have a full-day hiking experience to the three falls on River Sipi on the slope of mountain Elgon. On this experience, you will follow wandering trails through local communities, coffee, and banana plantations to the roaring waterfalls of the Sipi River, you will have magnificent views of the Karamojong plains and the slope of Mount Elgon.
The slope of Mount Elgon is believed to grow the best coffee in the country which you will have a taste of as you enjoy the magical moments of the African sunset.

Coffee Experience and Transfer to Jinja
You'll enjoy a morning coffee experience. You will trace the history of coffee right from the farm, visit a local farmer’s plantation, and learn about the plantation from seed and the role the people play in the coffee process.

White Water Rafting and Sunset Cruise to the Source of the Nile
You'll experience the thrill of white water rafting on the legendary Nile River in Jinja, one of the most exciting and popular adventure activities in Uganda. The Nile’s rapids, combined with breathtaking scenery, offer an unforgettable rafting experience for all levels of adventurers.
What to Expect
The rafting adventure covers approximately 20-30 kilometers of the Nile and includes a mix of exhilarating Grade 3 to Grade 5 rapids. For those preferring a more relaxed experience, you can opt for a “milder” rafting option, where certain rapids are bypassed.
