Arrival & shoebill tracking at Mabamba swamp, Karibu Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the nearby mabamba swamp by using a local wooden motorized boat to track the elusive shoebill and experience more bird species on boat ride.

Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Continue to Murchison falls

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover for a Rhino walk at Ziwa and lunch en-route. Murchison Falls National park is the first largest National Park in Uganda, it was first protected as a game reserve in 1926. The boasts of over 76 species of mammals and 451 species of birds. It is also bisected by the Victoria Nile which falls 45m over the remnant rift valley wall creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. Distance; Approx. 350 Km, 6 hours’ Drive.

Morning Game drive And Hike to top of the Falls

You will wake up early for an early morning game drive in Murchison falls national park to search for wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, impalas, waterbucks, impalas, and many others as you watch the beautiful sunset.

After your morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for refreshments and after a hot lunch, your guide will drive you to Murchison falls for a top-of-the-falls viewing experience. You will later continue with an evening game drive for check-in for the missing wildlife.

Morning Game drive And Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the falls

Early morning game drive in the park searching for the major species like; elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, kobs, on a lucky day even lions and Leopards can be sited. After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of falls where you will disembark and take a hike to the top of falls.

This is a rewarding adventure as the hike is relative and takes you along the water falls through a forested hill with great views of the waterfalls.

Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest

You will wake up early for breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the park headquarters at Budongo forest for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You will be briefed by the rangers and also divided into groups to begin your search for the chimpanzees in the Budongo forest. During the search for the chimpanzees, you will encounter other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, and also a variety of bird and butterfly species. You will also learn about the different tree species found in the forest.

An hour will be spent with the chimpanzees when you find them in the Kibale forest and you will enjoy taking photos and recording the chimpanzees and observing their behavior. After completing the activity, you will return to the park headquarters where you return to the starting point t meet your guide.

later in the afternoon spend the day relaxing on your balcony as we prepare to explore the Africa's true wilderness-Kidepo Valley National Park.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

This day starts with a morning breakfast and drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, the drive North-Eastwards will take through the country side of mostly Ugandan less developed villages. Drive via Gulu – Kitgum and eventually the Karamojong land and check in at your lodge for an overnight. If you arrive early enough time permitting you will go for an evening game drive which will be a warm welcome to this park. Distance; Approx. 350 Kms, 7 hours’ Drive.

Full game drive safari Exploring Kidepo Valley

Set out at 6am in the morning for a game drive in the Narus Valley which has the high concentration of animals in the park, as it is drained by the Narus River a source of water to the wildlife. Game include; Elephants, Bush Duikers, Buffaloes, Hartebeests when lucky you will spot the Kavirondo Bush baby, Jackal, Leopard and Lions sitting on the rocks in the valley.

In the afternoon visit the Karamojong local community for a cultural experience.

Karamojong Cultural Encounter In Moroto

This Karamojong cultural experience starts with a visit to the Karamojong village for a village walk and end in evening with Kraal visit. This is a participatory experience were you will be introduced to the daily lifestyle of the Karamojong people; from preparing local foods to celebrations with traditional folklore.

Drive to Piane-Upe Wildlife Reserve

Morning drive to Piane-Upe Wildlife reserve, for game drives off the beaten tracks in this amazing reserve. Located in the volcanic region of Mountain Napak, it anciently used to be a battle ground for Karamojong pastoralists.

Animals here include cheetahs, leopards, lions, Giraffes, Elands, Zebras, Cape buffalo herds, duikers, mountain reedbucks among others. Continue the drive to Sipi at the slopes of Mt. Elgon. Distance; Approx. 170 Km, 4 hours’ Drive.

Hike to Sipi falls & Sundowner Experience

A full day hiking experience to the three falls on river Sipi on the slope of mountain Elgon. On this experience you will follow wondering trails through local communities, coffee and banana plantations to the roaring water falls of the Sipi River, you will have magnificent views of the Karamojong plains and the slope of mountain Elgon.

Coffee experience & transfer to Jinja
