After being picked up by your guide in Arusha town, you will be briefed of the safari before starting. Within a two hour drive from the northern Tanzania town of Arusha, lives Tarangire, one of the finest places in Africa for elephant and baobab trees. Part of an immense ecosystem called Maasai steppe. Tarangire serves as a dry season haven for the wildlife. Tarangire is classic bush country, home to record numbers of breeding birds species, large herds of and an exceptional diversity of antelope and game found rarely in other parts of the country or region. Acacia and commifora woodlands, majestic granitic mountains, rivers and open swamp and plains express the diversity of habitat as well.

This is an early morning start day for gaming. After an early breakfast, you jump into your jeep and let your guide venture first up to the heights of the highlands for magnificent view and then down in the World Heritage Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic crater. There's rich pasture, swamps, forest and permanent water on the crater floor. That's why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. There are up to 25,000 larger animals living here. Ngorongoro is home to lush green, rain-watered vegetation as well as desert plants.

The Serengeti National park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Serengeti is renowned for its expansive savannas, acacia woodlands and open grassland.
It is especially famous for the annual Great Migration during which millions of wildebeest, zebras and other animals move in a circular journey in search of fresh grazing lands, often pursued by predators like lions, cheetahs and crocodiles. The Serengeti is home to the "Big Five" that is Lion, Leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros along with an immense diversity of other wildlife, including giraffes, gazelles, hippos and variety of species of birds.

After an early morning breakfast we head out in the vehicle to game drive slowly through the woodlands, lakeshores and the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti, heading slowly to Arusha via the highlands of Ngorongoro.
