After breakfast, you’ll journey through fertile highlands cultivated by the Iraqw people, with fields of wheat, coffee, and corn stretching across the landscape. Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti National Park on game drives. This park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and is most famous for the massive migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The timing and route of the migration depend on rainfall and shift each year. In November and December, the herds travel from the woodlands and hills in the north to the lush southern plains. During the longer rains from April to June, they make their way back north. Along with the migrating herds, you may spot predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always close by in search of prey.
After an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters, you’ll return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the Serengeti skies.
