Johannesburg to Sabi Sand Game Reserve

You can see a spectacular array of African animals in their natural habitat. Luxury lodges are known to provide the best possible game-viewing experiences.

The optional shuttle (including to and from Kempton Park or O.R. Tambo) departs at 6:45 am to the private reserve. We can arrange accommodation pick-up (ZAR 875 per transfer) to O.R. Tambo. Skukuza Airport is the closest airport, and pick-up/drop-off is included at any time. Arrival at MQP/KMIA Airport needs to be before 12:00 pm.

After settling into your accommodation, you will go out on your first game drive, which starts at 3:30 pm and continues after dark until 8:00 pm.

You will enjoy dinner with pudding (catered for various diets).

Sabi Sand

Start early with tea or coffee and muffins before departing on the morning drive, which takes approximately 4 hours. We'll conduct all our game drives in open safari vehicles with qualified guides. Then, a hot breakfast and brunch will be served.

There is some leisure time in the afternoon and then lunch. Your afternoon drive starts at 3:30 pm and continues after dark. Dinner is a meal South Africans regularly enjoy with pudding (for various diets).

You may opt to go on a bush walk daily.

Sabi Sand to Johannesburg

Once more, get rusks or muffins and coffee or tea before the morning game drive. This will be your last chance to see the Big Five.

For Skukuza Airport, drop-off is at any time, and for MQP Airport, drop-off will be around 2:00 pm.

There is an optional shuttle back to Kempton Park in Johannesburg (included) after brunch.

You will arrive in Johannesburg between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
