Johannesburg to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

You can see a spectacular array of African animals in their natural habitat. Luxury lodges are known to provide the best possible game-viewing experiences.

The optional shuttle (including to and from Kempton Park or OR Tambo International Airport) departs at 6:45 am to the private reserve. We can arrange accommodation pick-up (ZAR 875 per transfer) to OR Tambo International Airport.

Skukuza Airport is the closest airport. Pick-up/drop-off is included at Skukuza or MQP/KMIA airport and must be before 12:00 pm.

After settling into your accommodation, you will go out on your first afternoon game drive, which continues after dark.

Enjoy dinner with dessert (various dietary options available).

Sabi Sand

Start the early morning with tea or coffee and a light snack before departing on the morning game drive, which takes approximately 4 hours. We conduct all our game drives in open safari vehicles, and qualified guides accompany each vehicle.

Then, a hot brunch will be served. You may opt to do a bush walk (daily). In the afternoon, there is some leisure time, and then lunch is served before your afternoon game drive, which continues after dark.

Dinner is a traditional South African meal with dessert (various dietary options are available). Bottled beverages are at an additional cost, and juice and water in ice jugs are included.

Sabi Sand to Johannesburg

Once more, enjoy biscuits with coffee or tea before the morning game drive, your last chance to see the Big Five.

The drop-off at Skukuza Airport is after 1:00 pm; and the drop-off at MQP Airport is around 2:00 pm. There is an optional shuttle back to Johannesburg (included) after brunch.

You will arrive in Johannesburg between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
