Day 1

Johannesburg to Sabi Sand

Johannesburg to Sabi Sand

We leave on your Kruger and Sabi Sand safari from Johannesburg (pick-up only from Kempton Park or O.R. Tambo). We pick you up at 06h30 in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. A 6 to 7-hour drive will amaze you as you enter the scenic Lowveld. Keep your cameras ready.

Guests can also be picked up and dropped off at Skukuza (the nearest) or Nelspruit Airport between 12h00 and 13h30. Anytime transfers are available at an extra cost.

Lunch is included.

After settling into your en-suite room at Sabi Sand, you will go on your first sunset-to-night game drive in an open-sided vehicle. This game drive will showcase spectacular African wildlife at night. Please note that children under 6 years of age are not permitted on open vehicle drives.

A dinner that meets your dietary requirements is served after the thrilling sunset drive, either in the outdoor boma under the stars (where a campfire awaits) or in the dining area.

Day 2

You will kick the day off in the early morning with tea or coffee before departing on the morning drive in Sabi Sand where you will view wild animals and search for the Big Five. On your return, brunch will be served at the lodge. A short safari walk can then be done (included).

Lunch is included. In the afternoon, you can relax at the bar or lounge, swim, nap in your air-conditioned tent or walk around the grounds.

Go on an exciting afternoon game drive in Kruger Park. You are welcome to take photos and ask the game rangers questions about Kruger’s wildlife and plants.

When you return to the camp for dinner around the campfire, stories about all the different species can be shared as you relax under the night sky while listening to the amazing sounds of animals.

Day 4-5

Kruger National Park

Once again, you will kick the day off early with tea or coffee before departing on the morning game drive in the Kruger. An experienced game ranger will share his in-depth knowledge of the bush. The Kruger National Park is renowned for its outstanding leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant and rhino sightings. You are often able to get close to the wildlife where you can take excellent photographs.

When you return from the morning game drive, brunch will be served. In the afternoon, you can relax, swim, nap in your air-conditioned tent or walk around the grounds before going on an exciting afternoon game drive.

When you return to the camp for dinner and drinks around the campfire, stories about your sightings can be shared as you relax under the night sky and listen to the amazing sounds of African wildlife.

Kruger National Park to Kempton Park

Enjoy your final morning drive. After breakfast, you will travel back to Kempton Park or O.R. Tambo in Johannesburg via a road transfer. You will arrive in Johannesburg between 17h00 and 18h00.

When flying from Nelspruit or Skukuza Airport, your flight needs to leave after 14h30 (flight not included).
