Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Pick up at 8:00 AM and drive to the Great Rift Valley that hosts Mount Longonot, the Suswa Ranges among other geographical formations and beautiful sceneries. Drive down the escarpment with a 15 min stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take in the views. We will arrive at your hotel at 11:00 AM, Check in and Depart for the Menengai Cater and Mau Mau Caves. The Crater is an exciting attraction that provides a unique insight into Kenya’s history. It is believed that the crater is a historic battle ground for the different Maasai clans. After the cater, we will drive to the Nakuru park, which is famous for Flamingos, visiting the lake to feed on algae that forms on the lakebed. They move back and forth, feeding and occasionally taking to the skies, filling it with pink color.

Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

After Breakfast Leave Nakuru for Mara, arriving in time for lunch followed an Evening Game Drive. The Mara reserve is 1510 km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

After Breakfast enjoy a morning to noon safari with an option to visit the Maasai Village in the evening. Visiting the village will allow you to experience the Maasai culture at its best. The people will sing and dance for you, songs and dances that are hundreds of years old. This experience is very interactive, and we hope you will dance and jump along. After the performance, they take you into their homestead for a private tour. You will learn everything about the Maasai homesteads, how they are built and why this specific design is chosen.

The journey includes an awe-inspiring landscape change—from the lush greenery of Naivasha to the iconic, acacia-dotted savannahs of Amboseli. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and embark on an evening game drive where you might catch sight of large elephant herds silhouetted against the majestic mountain.

Exploring Amboseli

Exploring Amboseli

Start your day with an early morning game drive as the sun rises over Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is known for its large herds of elephants, so expect to see these majestic creatures strolling across the plains.

After your morning game drive, head back to your lodge for a hearty breakfast. Then, take some time to relax, maybe by the pool, or explore the lodge grounds.

Mid-morning, venture out to visit Observation Hill, a pyramid-shaped hill offering panoramic views of the park. From here, you can see the swamps and plains teeming with wildlife.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic at a designated spot within the park, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wild.

In the afternoon, embark on another game drive. Amboseli is home to over 600 species of birds, so bird watchers will also have a field day.

As the sun begins to set, head back to your lodge for a sundowner. Watch the sky turn shades of pink and orange, silhouetting the acacia trees and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
