Journey to Amboseli National Park
The safari begins in Nairobi at the airport or hotel where the guide will pick you up in the morning. Soon, you'll begin the journey bound southward to Amboseli. It will take about four hours to get there with no stops on the way. You will arrive in good time for lunch. You will then check in to the lodge, have your lunch, and have a bit of time to rest. In the afternoon, you finally get to visit the park. The park has a lot in store for you, it is especially difficult to miss the elephants clustered in large herds as they wander majestically about the enclosure. Maybe a cheetah might come whooshing past your vehicle as it chases down its dinner. The guide will be sure to let you see as much of the park as possible. As the sun sets in a reddish haze, the game drive will come to an end. You will return to the lodge for your dinner and a good night’s rest.
