Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the lively markets or simply settle in and prepare for the upcoming safari. On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Following your explorations, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Descending into the crater, you will embark on a captivating full-day game drive, immersing yourself in the awe-inspiring landscapes and encountering the famed Big Five, alongside a myriad of other captivating wildlife species. Subsequently, we will travel to Central Serengeti for your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, you will embark on a delightful half-day game drive expedition in the Serengeti. Take in the wonders of the majestic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes as you explore this renowned national park. Following this immersive experience, we will begin our journey to Lake Eyasi which will take approximately 5 hours of scenic driving. Sit back, relax, and relish the captivating sights along the way.

Day 6

Visit to the Lake Eyasi tribes - Transfer out

Visit to the Lake Eyasi tribes - Transfer out

Visit the Eyasi area and Lake Eyasi. This area is also inhabited by tribes that have settled in this region, still relatively untouched by tourism, which you will have the pleasure of exploring. In this territory, in addition to the village population, live two ancient tribes, the Hadzabe, the last Bushmen tribe, and the Datoga.

You will wake up before sunrise to meet the Hadzabe tribe and see how they prepare for their hunting day, accompanying them for a while to observe them in action. You will then proceed to visit the Datoga tribe, where the women, dressed in goat skin and adorned with beautiful tattoos, will welcome you into their huts to witness how African tribes still live today.
After lunch, you will depart for Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport (approximately 4 and a half to 5 and a half hours). Drop off at your hotel.
