Tarangire Np game drive

On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Following your explorations, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara game drive - Arusha

Departure early in the morning after breakfast for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, a vast national park spanning 2,600 square kilometers, offering a different environment compared to the other parks in the North. It is one of Tanzania's most biodiverse parks, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.

While animal concentrations may not be as high as in other northern parks, Lake Manyara is home to unique species that make a visit well worth it. The park's main attraction is the famous tree-climbing lions - the reason why these lions climb trees is still a subject of debate - as well as herds of elephants and a large number of baboons. During the game drive, you are likely to encounter wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, giraffes, dik-diks, and impalas. After the game drive you will be taken to Arusha at the hotel booked by you (not included).
