Tarangire National Park
Following an early breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famed for its massive elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Tarangire is sometimes called the “Elephant Playground” due to its dense population of elephants. On arrival, we’ll embark on an exciting game drive across the park’s diverse habitats: open savannas, riverbanks, and seasonal marshes.
As we explore, watch for lions lounging under trees, leopards hidden among branches, and large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and impalas grazing on the grasslands. A variety of birds, from the vibrant lilac-breasted roller to ostriches and hornbills, add color to the landscape. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, providing views of the Tarangire River where animals often gather. In the evening, settle into your campsite for a delicious meal and a night under the African stars.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, our journey continues with a drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, allowing a glimpse of Maasai villages and cattle herds dotting the hills. We’ll then descend into Serengeti National Park, home to Africa’s most famous wildlife spectacles. Arriving around midday, we’ll enjoy lunch before setting out on a game drive in the Seronera area, known as the “heart of the Serengeti” for its high concentration of animals.
This region is an excellent place to observe lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action, as well as herds of gazelles, buffalo, and wildebeests moving across the open plains. We may also catch sight of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most astounding wildlife events, depending on the time of year. As evening falls, we’ll reach our campsite in Serengeti and dine under the starlit sky.

Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated entirely to exploring Serengeti National Park. We begin with an early morning game drive, one of the best times for spotting big cats, as they are still active from their nighttime hunts. After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey through Serengeti’s varied landscapes, from the Seronera River Valley and kopjes (rocky outcrops) to the sprawling savanna.
Throughout the day, expect sightings of giraffes grazing on acacia trees, elephants moving in family groups, and possible encounters with rhinos, though they are rare. If you’re visiting during the migration season, you may witness dramatic river crossings, as wildebeests and zebras navigate crocodile-filled waters. Our guides will take you to prime locations to maximize wildlife sightings. After a full day, we return to camp for dinner and rest.

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, we leave Serengeti and make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater is a 600-meter-deep caldera formed by a massive volcanic eruption millions of years ago, creating an ecosystem with one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
We’ll descend into the crater floor for a remarkable game drive in this unique environment, where we may spot the endangered black rhino grazing in the plains, along with large prides of lions, hyenas, hippos wallowing in the crater’s pools, and elephants in the Lerai Forest. The crater’s central lake attracts flamingos, creating a picturesque scene. After lunch in a designated picnic area, we continue our exploration before heading to our camp on the crater rim.

Other animals you may encounter include hippos in the lake’s shallow waters, as well as buffaloes, giraffes, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, we’ll leave Lake Manyara and head back to Arusha for dinner and overnight, or transfer to the airport for your departure.
