After a hearty breakfast, we depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its dense elephant population and striking baobab trees. This park is a favorite for birdwatchers, with over 500 bird species, and for wildlife enthusiasts who want to see large herds of elephants. On your game drive, you’ll also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and the occasional lion or leopard lurking in the trees. We’ll stop for a scenic picnic lunch within the park, allowing you to savor the surroundings before resuming the adventure. By late afternoon, we make our way to Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay in a cozy, nature-infused setting.

Today, we rise early and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true wonder. The crater floor is rich in nutrients, supporting a large variety of animals in one compact area. After descending 600 meters into the caldera, you’ll have the chance to see black rhinos, large elephant bulls, lions, hyenas, and more. The crater’s soda lake is frequented by flamingos, adding a splash of color to the stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, we’ll proceed to the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp for an immersive night under the stars.

Start your day early with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains, dramatic skies, and high concentration of predators. Serengeti is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of antelope, making for an unforgettable safari experience. Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains. After lunch, we’ll head back to Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu, where you can share your incredible stories over dinner and relax for the night.

On your final safari day, we journey to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is a unique habitat with lush groundwater forests, savannahs, and a soda lake teeming with flamingos. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which you might be lucky enough to spot. Other highlights include hippos at the lake’s edge, baboons in the forest, and a range of colorful birds. Following this morning exploration, we return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
