Meet our team as your driver-guide picks you up from JKIA or your hotel for a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, complete with an en-route game drive. You'll arrive just in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli is famous for its close encounters with wild elephants, making it one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. You'll also enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, elephants reign supreme, often found in the swamp areas sharing cool waters with hippos. The park boasts a large population of Burchell’s zebras, along with other herbivores like Thomson’s and Grant's gazelles, buffalo, warthogs, Maasai giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, and dik-diks.

After an exhilarating day, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, check out and make your way to Nakuru via Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the route. The journey takes about seven hours, offering breathtaking views of the Rift Valley escarpment. You’ll arrive at the park in the late afternoon, giving you time to unwind before an evening game drive.

Nakuru National Park is renowned for its large flocks of lesser flamingos, drawn to the algae in its soda lake. The park is home to over 50 mammal species, including hippos, black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffalo, and eland. Birdwatchers will be thrilled to spot more than 450 species. Enjoy views through the picturesque landscape, picnicking by the lake, and don’t miss the stunning Makalia Waterfall. After a full day, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Begin your day with an early morning game drive and bird-watching in the park. After breakfast, head west past Mount Longonot and through Narok to arrive at the Masai Mara National Reserve just in time for lunch. Check into your accommodation and savor your meal with stunning views of the reserve.

In the afternoon, embark on another game drive. As temperatures drop, the Mara’s predators—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—start to prepare for their evening hunts, particularly during migration season when prey is abundant.

As dusk falls, return to your accommodation for dinner, followed by a night of stargazing and storytelling around the campfire. When you’re ready, a Maasai night guard, known as an Askari, will accompany you back to your room for a restful overnight stay.

Awaken at dawn for a final morning game drive, watching the savannah come to life with the rising sun. You might also choose to experience a balloon safari. After returning for breakfast, gather your belongings and bid farewell to the Masai Mara, much like the wildebeest beginning their journey.

As you drive back to Nairobi, enjoy the scenic views of the expansive Maasai lands across the Rift Valley, stopping at the Rift Valley View Point. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelles as you ascend the Mau escarpment. Lunch will be enjoyed along the way. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where our driver will take you to your hotel or to JKIA for your flight-home. As you board your plane, treasure the memories and the deep connection you forged with nature and the vibrant cultures during your safari.
