1-Day Best Kilimanjaro Hike to Mandara Hut

• You'll be collected from the airport.

We’ll pick you up at your accomodation and drive you to the Kilimanjaro entrance at Marangu Gate, just an hour away. From here, you’ll hike through tropical rainforest surrounded by lush vegetation, with chances to spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species. Our experienced English-speaking guide will share fascinating insights about Kilimanjaro and its diverse plants and animals. Along the way, you may meet climbers descending from the summit, eager to share their stories and inspire your own mountain dreams!

After a 3- to 4-hour hike, you’ll reach Mandara Hut (2,700m), where you can rest and enjoy lunch. From there, your guide will lead a short 15-minute hike to Maundi Crater, offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll then make your way back down to the gate and return to your hotel / airpot for a well-deserved rest.
