Day 1

From Arusha to Tarangire

From Arusha to Tarangire

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading straight to the breathtaking Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a diverse range of wildlife sightings.

Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling game drive as you explore the park's landscapes, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various predators in action. Midday, pause for a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Continue with an afternoon game drive, taking in more of the park’s incredible wildlife and views. By early evening, you’ll exit the park and head to your lodge, where a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay await.

Day 2

Ndutu area

After an early breakfast, set off toward the scenic Ndutu region, part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem. The drive takes you through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll have the chance to take in incredible landscapes along the way.

Upon reaching Ndutu, dive into an exciting day of game drives, where you might witness the incredible Great Migration (seasonal), with vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roaming the plains. The area is also known for its high concentration of big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild, surrounded by the beauty of the region, before continuing your wildlife exploration into the afternoon.

As evening approaches, head to your camp in Ndutu for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night under the African sky.

Day 3

As you descend into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by the dramatic landscape of this massive caldera, which supports a rich ecosystem of diverse habitats, from open grasslands to dense forests.

Spend the day exploring the crater floor on a game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and the rare black rhinoceros—along with hippos, zebras, and flamingos gracing the soda lakes. Pause midday for a picnic lunch within the crater, taking in the spectacular surroundings as you dine.

In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and head to your nearby lodge, where a warm meal and comfortable overnight stay await, capping off an unforgettable day in this natural wonder.
