Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be driven to Tarangire National Park after being picked up from your Arusha accommodation or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport, which will take three hours. You will enjoy a hot lunch inside the park and a full-day game drive through it. For dinner and your overnight stay, you will then go to Fanaka Lodge. Up to 300 elephant herds are scouring the dry riverbed for new streams in the national park, while eland mass, buffalo, impala, gazelles, wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo live as nomads in the diminished lagoons. Furthermore, it is the only location in Tanzania where dry-country antelope, such the unusual long-necked gerenuk and the stately fringe-eared oryx, are frequently useful. Additionally, it is the only national park that welcomes many animal species and hosts migrants throughout the dry season.
