Day 1

Nairobi to Meru National Park

Nairobi to Meru National Park

Your tour starts with pickup from your hotel/ airport in the morning for 5 hours road trip to Meru National Park. You will be able to enjoy great views of Mt Kenya region, with her fertile, green vegetation. You are set to arrive at your camp in time for lunch and check-in at the camp.

Later in the afternoon begin your first game drive at Meru National Park to see rhinos in the wilderness, Grevy's zebras, elephants, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, lions, leopard, cobras, buffalos and over 400 recorded species of birds including the threatened Jungle Babbler, 8 species of Kenya Mountains Endemic Bird Area, and 59 of the 94 Somali-Masai biome species that occur in Kenya.

Meet other animals such as cheetahs, plains zebra, giraffes, hippos, lesser kudu, oryxes, gerenuks, hartebeest, gazelles.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Second day is your full day with Nature. Early morning breakfast and depart with packed lunch boxes for full day tour. Meru National Park is famous for its lions & rhinos. The Park is especially associated with Elsa the Lioness and the film Born Free. The Park is one of the best places in Kenya to see rhinos in the wilderness.

You will enjoy your packed lunch in the park. Continue with the game drives and later return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
