Itinerary Overview
Start your day with an early morning departure from Kigali, driving through the scenic Rwandan countryside to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive at the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing by expert guides who will share important trekking protocols and insights into gorilla behavior.

Set off on your trek through the misty forest, following your guides as they navigate the dense vegetation. The hike can range from an hour to several hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find the gorilla family, spend an awe-inspiring hour observing their behaviors, interactions, and social dynamics—an experience like no other.

After your encounter, return to the park base for a short rest before heading back to Kigali. Reflect on the extraordinary day as you drive back, bringing with you memories of one of nature’s most profound experiences.
