Arrive in Tanzania - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). After receiving your tourist visa and collecting your bags a team member will collect you from the hotel and you transfer you to your Arusha accommodation for rest before your safari adventure!

Day 2

Air Transfer to Central Serengeti

Air Transfer to Central Serengeti

After breakfast a private driver will meet you at your Arusha accommodation and you will transfer to the nearby Arusha Domestic airport to board your charter flight to Ndutu Landing Strip - in Central Serengeti Serengeti.
The flight duration will vary depending on flight pattern and destination - flight times can range from 1 hour - 3 hours.
Arriving at the Seronera landing strip you will be greeted by your safari guide and your adventure will start immediately with a game drive. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Central region before retiring to your luxury accommodation for relaxation and enjoyment.

Spend a FULL day game driving and exploring the Central Region of the Serengeti - or a morning game drive in the area and an afternoon relaxing at your accommodation. The decisions is yours - no two game drives are ever the same and you just never know what you will see!

Enjoy a final morning game driving and exploring the Central region of the Serengeti before transferring across the Savannah towards the southern region. During this time of year the Southern region will be full of action - hundreds of thousands of migrating wildebeest and zebra return to this area every year in anticipation of giving birth! Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the Southern Region before retiring to your camp for the evening.

‍Enjoy a full day exploring and game driving in the Southern region of the Serengeti also referred to as 'Ndutu'. With a mix of vast short grass plains and wooded areas there is much to see here. The plains will be lively with action as millions of wildebeest and zebra arrive here to graze - and with the arrival of herbivores the big cats come out for a feast!
Ndutu is most famous for the Great Migration, specifically the calving season from December to March. This natural phenomenon attracts thousands of wildebeests and zebras, followed by predators, offering spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities.
The area's ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife, including endangered and vulnerable species. It's a haven for big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, and is also home to a rich diversity of birdlife. Ndutu's significance extends to its role in research and education, providing valuable insights into wildlife behaviors and ecosystem dynamics.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Southern Serengeti - after lunch transfer to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Highlands where the vast open savannah transforms into dense forest - surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the night on the Ngorongoro Crater rim - tucked away in the magical forest.
Additional activities can be included this day such as an authentic Maasai Boma visit for an additional cost.

We recommend starting your Ngorongoro crater game drive as early in the morning as possible! You may even choose to take a boxed breakfast so to depart very early and enjoy a sunrise descent to the floor - later stopping for a picnic breakfast.
The crater floor although small is home to many animals including: elephants, water buffalo, lions and the endangered black rhino. The caldera creates an incredible backdrop. Spend the morning game driving and exploring the area.
After the game drive ascend the crater rim and return to your crater rim accommodation for relaxation and enjoyment or partake in a crater rim walk.
