Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
We recommend starting your Ngorongoro Crater game drive as early in the morning as possible! You'll descend to the crater floor just as the sun is rising across the horizon. The crater floor although small is home to many animals including elephants, water buffalos, lions, and the endangered black rhinos. The caldera creates an incredible backdrop. You'll spend the morning doing the game drive stopping by a hippo pool for a coffee and snacks or a packed breakfast.
After the game drive, you'll ascend the crater rim and enjoy your premium accommodation for the rest of the day or some activities around the crater rim/lodge such as authentic Maasai Boma visits, hikes, and nature walks —some of these activities may attract additional cost.
