Ngorongoro Crater
Following a filling breakfast, you will drive into the crater along the adventurous track. Among the Seven Wonders of Africa, this UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts one of the planet's most amazing ecosystems. It was created by a volcano's tremendous explosion millions of years ago. It encompasses over 260 square kilometers and is 610 meters deep. With a population of about 25,000 animals, the crater provides the best game viewing of any Tanzanian park. You will be able to observe gazelles, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area in a matter of minutes.
With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. Following lunch, you will mount the crater's steep walls and travel to Arusha, where you can spend the night or depart for the airport.
