Day 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

On the 1st day of your 6-day gorilla and wildlife safari, you will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your 6-day expedition in Uganda.
After briefing, you will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the equator for photos and also to enjoy craft shopping and buying souvenirs. After your experience at the equator, you will continue to your lodge where you will have lunch.
After lunch, you will engage in an evening game drive and explore Lake Mburo National Park in search of different wildlife species such as zebras, buffalos, warthogs, and antelopes among others. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and an overnight stay at Rwakobo Lodge.

Day 2

Early Morning Nature Walk and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have breakfast at your lodge before proceeding to enjoy a nature walk experience in Lake Mburo National Park.
During the nature walk, you will enjoy the beautiful views around the national park and can also spot some of the wildlife species around, such as topis, duiker, oribi, reedbucks, klipspringer, and impalas, among others.
After the nature walk, you will be driven to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and an overnight stay at Bweza Gorilla Lodge.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your gorilla trekking experience.
At the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking activity before continuing in the forest to look out for the gorillas in the impenetrable forest.
During the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi forest, you will follow different trails in the impenetrable forest as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas and after the gorilla trekking experience, you will trek back to the briefing point at the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for lunch. Afterward, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa where you will relax the whole evening viewing the islands on this lodge from your lodge.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector

You will wake up to an early breakfast, check out of the accommodation, and travel to the southern area of the park called Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is popular for tree-climbing lions, and if you’re lucky, you may see them.
Other big game in this area include elephants, topis, and buffaloes among others. Lunch will be served in Ishasha. You'll proceed to your reserved lodge —Buffalo Safari Lodge, check in, and head out for an evening game drive. Later, you'll go back for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day, you will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth National Park.
During the morning game drive, you will have an experience spotting wildlife species in the savannah plains of this national park such as antelopes, elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, and hippos among others.
After the game drive, you will have lunch. During your trip around Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will also enjoy an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where Lake Edward and Lake George meet.
During the boat ride, you will spot buffalos, elephants, hippos, and Nile crocodiles along the shores of the lake and also spot various bird species such as eagles, kingfishers, and herons among others. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Buffalo Safari Lodge.

Departure to Kampala

With the superb memories of the past five days, you will enjoy a heavy and tasty breakfast. Then, you'll check out of the lodge. You will enjoy your lunch along the way. Also, you will have a stopover at Mpambire Drum Center where you will see how drums are made by the locals and also be in a position to buy some souvenirs. You'll proceed to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening.
