Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

The entire day is set aside for a game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is an abundant wildlife habitat, such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is more well-known for its annual migration of herds of zebras and wildebeest. The rainfall determines the time of the year when the animals migrate and vary yearly. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. They return to the north during the extended rainy season from April to June. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking nearby.

After an unforgettable day, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and the most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. It is 610m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best wildlife-viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. You might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass with a bit of luck.
