Tarangire to Central Serengeti

Tarangire to Central Serengeti

After a leisurely breakfast, take a game-viewing drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before continuing on to Serengeti National Park. Due to its exceptional natural beauty and scientific significance, the Serengeti is without a doubt the most well-known animal reserve in the world. It also boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa. Perhaps the Serengeti is most known for this migration. After the lengthy rains in April, May, and June, more than 200,000 zebras and a million wildebeest migrate south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the brief rains in October and November. They then go north and west.

Serengeti is truly home to the legendary wildebeest migration. The Serengeti National Park is where safari-goers come to truly experience an African safari. Late afternoon, drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.

Main Destination:

Northern Serengeti National Park

You will get up early on this day, eat a hearty breakfast, and then begin your game drive inside the Serengeti. Since you will be there for the entire day, our driver will take you to all of the Serengeti's important locations.

While on our journey, we will ensure that you follow the wildebeest migration wherever it occurs. Our driver will be able to take them to the northern Serengeti, where they will be able to witness the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Since the wildebeest calving occurs from January to March, the best time to see the Great Migration is from June to September. You return to your lodging for dinner and spend the night at Heritage Mara Camp following your full-day game drive, where a million and a half of these magnificent creatures roam around the year in search of new grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for improved water sources.

We leave early for another Serengeti game drive after breakfast. We can enjoy unhindered game viewing because the animals are allowed to travel freely throughout the unfenced reserves. We get our first look at what the next day will bring: shimmering streams, broad grassland, and a variety of animals as we reach the crater's edge. As we fall asleep, the orange glow of the sunset surrounds us at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, which is located right in the middle of the Ngorongoro highlands.
