Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari to Masai Mara with a 7.30am to 8am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Maasai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. ( Drive time 4.5 hours). You will be in a private safari vehicle.

Stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at your lodge. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your lodge by 6.30pm.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today's schedule.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill).
Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch.
You will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After breakfast, depart and drive back to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 4:00pm with a hot lunch en route. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
